About Us

HPS has a long traceable history spanning more than 100 years. In recent years it has benefitted from a resurgence with the formation of a new committee and the appointment of a dedicated team of bailiffs.

We are a friendly, non profit society whose aim is to benefit both the local community and environment through the pursuit of Angling.

Aside from fishing we have a strong focus on improving the habitat for wildlife across all venues.
